Opportunity For a $1,000 Scholarship!
Leichter Law Firm, APC is excited to announce its annual scholarship for students who plan to attend school in the fall of 2024 as either a pre-law undergraduate or a first-year law student. The $1,000 scholarship aims to assist with expenses for students accepted into a school anywhere in the United States.
Eligibility Criteria:
- U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the United States
- Acceptance and attendance at a school as a pre-law undergraduate or entering law school in fall 2024
- Academic achievement with an undergraduate cumulative minimum GPA of 3.0
Application Requirements:
- Completed resume
- One to three-page typed essay on a topic of the student’s choice related to their intended area of law
- Complete copy of school transcripts
- Acceptance letter from a U.S. school
- Proof of legal residency in the U.S. (e.g., birth certificate, passport, permanent resident card, etc. – social security cards will not be accepted)
Award Details:
- Scholarship is for tuition and related expenses only
- $1,000 check made payable to the recipient to cover these expenses
- Recipient must submit receipts as per IRS regulations
- Notification of selection by February 28, 2025
